Malak (mah-lak): Hebrew n., sovereign/king
Tsadaq (za-dak): Hebrew n., righteousness
Malky-Tsadaq (mal-kee-za-dak): Hebrew Pn., lit. translated as “My King is Righteousness” interpreted in context of Gen. 14 & Ps. 110: “King of Righteousness”;
the person holding both offices of both King of Shalam (Salem) and High Priesthood
The Malky-Tsadaq Priesthood of the First Covenant Age
The Melchizedek Priesthood, or "Malky-Tsadaq" Priesthood, as pronounced in pre-Masoretic Hebrew, is first made known to us at Barashyth (Genesis) 14, which delivers to us the details of what many refer to as the "Battle of the Kings", but what might also be accurately called the first world war. The story begins when a unified force of five small city-states refuse to comply with the grand taxation of their luscious lands (Philo, Abr. 226-227, Yashar 15:45) by the great Mesopotamian Empire (Eylam) led by Abram's relative Kadarla'amar (Chedorlaomer: Gen. 10:22 & 14:1).
by AMIBA/Christopher Eames, Reese Zoellner
Kadarla’amar orders four of the most powerful allies under his dominion to join him in the fight against these five smaller city-states (Yashar 16:1). As their combined force of 800,000 soldiers travels the long journey towards the Yardan (Jordan) Valley, they blaze a path of fury, slaughtering any opposing nations along the way, including where the "giants dwelled in the land after the days of the flood" (Gen. 6:4, Yash. 16:2). Once they finally confront the five allied kings at the Valley of Siddim, the great army easily subdues the rebellious forces and the King of Amarah (Gomorrah) is killed in the chaos. Whereas, the King of Sadam (Sodom), realizing the battle has been lost, flees with the remainder of his army towards the Dead Sea flats. Although, this escape plan proves unhelpful as many find themselves trapped in the lime pits. The rest retreat for safety. However, Kadarla'amar and his allies pursue them even there, conquering and pillaging what remains of Sadam and Amarah. The few survivors are then taken as captives, including Abram's nephew Lut (Lot) and his entire family, who dwelled in Sadam (likely to be used as slaves, or sold and traded to other nations). Once informed of Lut's abduction, Abram and his small but mighty force of 318 men immediately gather to pursue the captors. While the four kings' armies rest for the evening celebrating their victory before beginning their long journeys home, Abram's small militia wages guerrilla warfare under the dark cover of night, and overtake them. Realizing Abram's ambush is an overwhelming success, the four kings and the remnant of their armies attempt to flee homewards, but Abram's men continue to pursue them as far as Hobah, where Kadarla'amar and the rest of his men are killed (Yashar 16:7 & 54:60), all except Nimrod, the King of Babylon and Shinar (Jasher 35:6-9).
by AMIBA/Christopher Eames, Reese Zoellner
Abram therefore obtains all those held captive, Lut's family, and all the goods stolen from Sadam as well earned war spoils (Yashar 16:8). During his return to Mamre, Abram passes through the Valley of Siddim where the great Battle of the Nine Kings first took place. There, the King of Shalam and Sadam meet Abram (Abraham) at the "Valley of the Kings". Abram tithes a tenth of his spoils to the "Sovereign of Righteousness and Peace". This Malky-Tsadaq then thanks "Al Alyun" for "delivering his enemies into his hand," and the King of Sadam suddenly submits to Abram, encouraging him to keep the goods stolen from him as tribute, pleading only for the safe return of his people, which Abram captured in the night. However, Abram returns all, asking only for enough to cover the cost of the short campaign. This is intriguing, as Abram could have easily taken this opportunity to absorb those gentile nations under his dominion, and require these Yardanian Nations to pay him tribute as their ruler in place of Kadarla'amar. But instead, Abram preferred the Father to receive the Glory for his wealth and divine providence and remained content with the Hope and Promise of a far off Expectation. The King of Sadam is happy to oblige, thus, Abram releases the captives, and the Malky-Tsadaq officiates a new covenant of peace amongst the kingdoms of the Yardan:
“1And it came to be in the days of Amraphel (Nimrod, Yashar 6:1 & 26:35) Sovereign of Shinar, Aryok Sovereign of Ellasar, Kadarla’amar Sovereign of Ěylam, and Tidal Sovereign of Goyim, 2that they fought against Bera Sovereign of Sadam (Sodom), Birsha Sovereign of Amarah (Gomorrah), Shinab Sovereign of Admah, Shemĕber Sovereign of Tseboyim, and the Sovereign of Bela, that is Tsoar. 3All these joined together in the Valley of Siddim that is the Salt Sea. 4Twelve years they served Kadarla’amar, and in the thirteenth year they rebelled. 5And in the fourteenth year Kadarla’amar and the sovereigns that were with him came and smote the Rephaim in Ashteroth Qarnayim, and the Zuzim in Ḥam, and the Ěmites in Shawĕh Qiryathayim, 6and the Ḥorites in their Mountain of Sĕir, as far as Ěl Paran, which is by the Wilderness. 7And they turned back and came to Ěn Mishpat, that is Qadash, smote all the country of the Amalĕqites, and also the Amorites who dwelt in Ḥatsetson Tamar. 8And the Sovereign of Sadam, and the Sovereign of Amarah, and the Sovereign of Admah, and the Sovereign of Tseboyim, and the Sovereign of Bela, that is Tsoar, went out and joined together in battle in the Valley of Siddim, 9against Kadarla’amar Sovereign of Ěylam, and Tidal Sovereign of Goyim, and Amraphel Sovereign of Shinar, and Aryok Sovereign of Ellasar – four sovereigns against five.
10And the Valley of Siddim had many tar pits. And the sovereigns of Sadam and Amarah fled and fell there, and the remainder fled to the mountains. 11And they took all the goods of Sadam and Amarah, and all their food, and went away. 12And they took Lut (Lot), Abram’s brother’s son who dwelt in Sadam, and his goods, and left. 13And one who had escaped came and informed Abram the Hebrew for he dwelt by the Terebinth trees of Mamrĕ the Amorite, brother of Eshkol and brother of Anĕr, and they had a covenant with Abram. 14And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his 318 trained servants who were born in his own house, and went in pursuit as far as Dan. 15And he and his servants divided against them by night, and smote them and pursued them as far as Ḥobah, which is on the left of Damascus. 16So he brought back all the goods, and also brought back his brother Lut and his goods, as well as the women and the people.
17And after his return from the defeat of Kadarla’amar and the sovereigns who were with him, the Sovereign of Sadam came out to meet him at the Valley of Shawĕh, that is, the “Sovereign’s Valley”. 18And Malky-Tsadaq Sovereign of Shalam (Salem) brought out bread and wine. Now he was the Priest of the Most High Al. 19And he blessed him and said, “Blessed be Abram of Al Alyun, Possessor of the heavens and earth. 20And blessed be the Al Alyun Who has delivered your enemies into your hand.” And he gave him a tenth of all. 21And the Sovereign of Sadam said to Abram, "Give me the people, and take the goods for yourself.” 22But Abram said to the Sovereign of Sadam, “I have lifted my hand to Yahuah, the Most High Al, the Possessor of the heavens and earth, 23not to take a thread or a sandal strap or whatever is yours, lest you should say, ‘I have made Abram rich,’ 24except only what the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men who went with me: Anĕr, Eshkol, and Mamrĕ. Let them take their portion.”
-Barashyth/Genesis 14:1-24
As we see, this "King of Shalam", ("Salem": the ancient name for the "City of Peace" now called "Yarushalam", or "Jerusalem" in modern English, Psa. 76:2)", simultaneously served as a "Priest of the Most High Al". The verse uses the shortened title "Al Alyun" meaning "First/Highest Authority Mighty One", i.e. the Creator of Heaven and Earth Who is properly named "Yahuah" (Exo. 3:15, Psalm 97:9), as opposed to a created Gentile deity. This is an interesting Designation, as Yaacub (Jacob) later prophesied these two offices would eventually be presided over separately (Barashyth/Genesis 49), until "The One to Whom the Promise was Made" (Gal. 3:19) would "Come, and to Him would be the obedience of the Peoples (Gen. 49:10)." Although originally these two offices were expected to fall to Yaacub's First-Born Son Reuben, much like the Covenant Promises bypassed Abraham's First-Born Son Yashmaal (Ishmael) falling to Yatschaq (Isaac) instead, and bypassed Yatschaq's First-Born Son Asau (Esau) falling to Yaacub (Jacob) instead, due to a certain act of jealousy, this Special Anointing likewise passed on separately to two of Reuben's younger brothers. More specifically, the passage states the Tribe of Yahudah (Judah) would eventually hold the Sceptre of Sovereign Authority to Rule and enforce the Law over all Yasharal, whereas the Authority of the Priesthood would eventually transfer exclusively to the Sons of Luy (Levi). These two tribes would be entrusted with these particular offices due to their unique display of zeal for the enforcement of Justice and Righteousness as both the Book of Yashar (Jasher) 36:15, and Yubalym (Jubilees) 31 further testify. However, these offices and duties were often bought, sold, stolen and abandoned amongst those who would rather reap the benefits of such honor, or other pleasantries. Because the People, Kings and Priests often failed to keep the commands in "Spirit and in Truth", eventually only the Tsadaqym (Zadokites) from all the Sons of Luy (Levi) were seen as worthy to Officiate the Priesthood (Eze, 44:15), while only the direct lineage of King Daud (David)'s son Shalamah (Solomon) were authorized to Inherit the Throne of Sovereignty (2 Sam. 7:1-16). Regardless, even their progeny often failed to perform their duties as directed. Therefore, the Scattered Tribes and the Remnant of Yasharal eagerly awaited the manifestation of an ancient Promise of the "Seed" of Adam, Abraham and Daud (David), Who would eventually Come to offer a Perfect Propitiation for their sins to Deliver His People from the Wrath of the Father, regather them to the Promised Land where He would Rule them in Righteousness, and defend them from their Enemies by destroying all those Who defy His Authority (YashaYahu/Isaiah 11:1-5 & 11:10-12:5).
The Mysterious Malky-Tsadaq
However, we know this "Royal Priest of Righteousness" in Genesis 14 Ruled Shalam and Served as Priest long before the Sons of Yahudah (Judah) or Luy (Levi) were even born, so who was this particular Malky-Tsadaq High Priest?
Some Protestant Christian scholars assume it must have been the Messiah manifesting in His pre-incarnate form (since several passages in the Book of Hebrews often link this title with our Messiah). However, this theory still doesn’t explain why this particular individual in Genesis was described as actually presiding as literal king over the City of Shalam (Salem). As we know, the Messiah said His "Reign is not of this world" (1 Yahu./John 18:36). Therefore, if His Sovereignty didn't manifest in the literal worldly sense of the term during the time of His First Coming, surely He didn't serve in the literal worldly sense of the term prior to His First Coming!
On the contrary, Roman Catholic priests consider this person literally served as both King and Priest as an archetype for the future Messiah, and the "Vicar of Christ: the Pope". They believe the Genesis 14 Malky-Tsadaq Priest's peace treaty confirmed through the "bringing out of bread and wine" serves as evidence of the authority of the Roman Catholic Pope and his subservient Catholic Priesthood, which now primarily serves to rule the Body of Messiah by officiation of the Eucharist on behalf of themselves and the "laity of the Church". However, this interpretation doesn't account for why the Messiah is often Proclaimed throughout the New Testament Letters as having already become the Eternal High Priest Whose one solitary sacrifice is sufficient "for all time" (Heb. 10:12-14). Neither does it account for why those verses also identify the entire "laity" as "the Priesthood," (1 Peter 2:9-12), which presides directly under Messiah, rather than a secondary Intermediator (Heb. 4:14-16, 1 Tim. 2:5). Therefore, these two concepts are actually diametrically opposed to another. As such, there exists no Scriptural allowance for the legitimacy of the "Transubstantiation" Ritual which they claim, "includes the authority of the Pope to command Messiah down from His Heavenly Throne for His literal body and blood to be transformed into the bread and wine (Eucharist) consumed by the priests and laity as a daily sacrifice".
On the other end of the spectrum, some modern Jewish rabbis consider the man referred to in Genesis 14 a complete "heretic and fraud", as they refuse to acknowledge any alternative Righteously ordained priesthood outside of the Levitical Priesthood. Knowing this Battle of the Sovereigns took place long before Luy (Levi) was ever born, they assume this man simply anointed himself under an order of priesthood of the figment of his own imagination. However, this theory doesn't explain why Mashah (Moses) referred to this man as "The priest of the Most High Alahym", or why Abraham, who knew and followed The Ways of Alahym would honor him as such, rather than publicly rebuke his wild antics. However, some older rabbinical sources identify this man as Shem (Talmud b. Nedarim 32b), but how would the ancient Jewish rabbis have known this, if it isn't explicitly stated in Genesis? As we know, much like the Catechism, the Talmud isn't always trustworthy. In fact, many passages are simply opinion or "midrash", and even the supposed "historical records" found within the Talmud can be quite unreliable, as they are admittedly said to have been passed down "orally" for quite some time, before they were eventually written down almost a millennia later.
So, to truly understand what the Malky-Tsadaq Priest mentioned in Genesis 14 has to do with the Messiah as described throughout the Book of Hebrews, like any Scriptural topic, we must discover how the Malky-Tsadaq Order of Appointment works with the help the most reliable manuscripts of the most ancient Canonized Books of Scripture which these ancient rabbis were often familiar with... Such as the Book of Yashar (Jasher) and Yubalym (Jubilees), which are still included in the ancient Pre-Rabbinical and Pre-Catholicized Ethiopian Canon to this day.
The Malky-Tsadaq Priesthood of the New Covenant Age
The second mention of the term "Malky-Tsadaq" we find in Scripture is included in one of King Daud (David)'s Psalms. We find some striking similarities between this future King and Abraham's experience in the Battle of the Kings. Here in Psalm 110, Yahuah reveals to King Daud His "Promised Seed" (Ps. 89:36) Who will eventually come to Rule in His Stead will not just Govern Yasharal, but eventually the entire earth. The passage promises Yasharal will once again have a "Malky-Tsadaq", but He will also Serve as the Final and Eternal Priest and King, Who both judges the nations of the world, and saves His People during Yahuah's "Day of Wrath":
“1Yahuah said to My Adonai (Master), “Sit at My Right Hand,
Until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.”
2Yahuah sends Your Mighty Sceptre out of Tsayan.
Rule in the midst of Your enemies!
3Your People volunteer in the Day of Your Might,
In the splendours of Set Apartness!
From the womb, from the morning, You have the dew of Your youth!
4Yahuah has Sworn and does not relent,
“You are a Priest forever according to the Order of Malky-Tsadaq.”
5Yahuah at Your Right Hand shall smite sovereigns in the Day of His Wrath.
6He judges among the nations, He shall fill the nations with dead bodies,
He shall crush the Head over the mighty earth!
7He drinks of the stream by the Wayside,
Therefore He does lift up the Head!”
-Psalm 110:1-7
This is quite significant as the passage reveals it is Yahuah Himself Who Anoints this "Adonai (Master)" to "Sit at His Right Hand" in order to Reign as the Eternal "Malky-Tsadaq" High Priest so He may, "Rule in the Midst of His Enemies" from "the womb". Therefore, it is not the sovereigns of the earth, nor the Sovereign of Yahudah (Judah) and Luy (Levite) High Priest who would officially Anoint Him with this Almighty Power and Authority, but Yah. Furthermore, as Messiah points out, it is not King Daud (David)'s genetic bloodline which would produce this purely human son, but this Son of Yahuah Alahym, Who is born through Daud's lineage by Whom Daud is given Life and an "Inheritance", along with the Rest of His People both Yahudy and Gentile:
"41And when the Pharisees were gathered together, Yahusha asked them, 42saying, “What do you think concerning the Messiah? Whose Son is He?” They said to Him, “The Son of Daud (David).” 43He said to them, “Then how does Daud in the Spirit call Him ‘Master,’ saying, 44‘Yahuah said to My Master, “Sit at My Right Hand, until I make Your enemies a footstool of Your feet” ’? 45“If then Daud calls Him ‘Master,’ how is He his son?”
-MathathYahu/Matthew 22:41-45
"1I am the true vine, and My Father is the gardener. 2Every branch in Me that bears no fruit He takes away. And every branch that bears fruit He prunes, so that it bears more fruit.
3You are already clean because of the Word which I have spoken to you. 4Stay in Me, and I stay in you. As the branch is unable to bear fruit of itself, unless it stays in the vine, so neither you, unless you stay in Me. 5I am the Vine, you are the branches. He who stays in Me, and I in him, he bears much fruit. Because without Me you are able to do naught!
6If anyone does not stay in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up. And they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned."
-Yahuchanan/John 15:1-6
"16Now if the First Fruit is Set Apart, the lump is also. And if the root is Set Apart,
so are the branches. 17And if some of the branches were broken off, and you,
being a wild olive tree, have been grafted in among them, and came to share the root and fatness of the olive tree, 18do not boast against the branches. And if you boast, remember: you do not bear the root, but the root bears you!"
-Romans 11:16-18
Later, in a similar passage found in the Book of YashaYahu (Isaiah), we find this "Adonai" (English: "Master") described in Psalm 110 as the One Who both delivers His People from "captivity," and by Whom "the Vengeance of Alahym" is poured out on those who have oppressed His People:
"1The Spirit of the Adonai (Master) יהוה is upon Me, because יהוה has Anointed Me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent Me to bind up the broken-hearted, to Proclaim release to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound, 2to Proclaim the Acceptable Year of יהוה, and the Day of Vengeance of our Elohim, to comfort all who mourn, 3to Appoint unto those who mourn in Tsiyon: to give them embellishment for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the Garment of Praise for the Spirit of heaviness. And they shall be called Trees of Righteousness, a Planting of יהוה, to be adorned."
However, when we compare this passage with the First Century Scroll which Luke testifies the Messiah read from, most suspiciously missing from the manuscript of the Masoretic Text (transcribed 700-1000 AD) is the phrase "and recovery of sight to the blind".
"16And He came to Natsarath, where He had been brought up.
And according to His practice, He went into the Congregation on the Sabbath Day,
and stood up to read. 17And the Scroll of the prophet YashaYahu (Isaiah) was handed to Him. And having unrolled the Scroll, He found the place where it was Written: "18“The Spirit of יהוה is upon Me, because He has Anointed Me to bring the Good News to the poor. He has sent Me to heal the broken-hearted, to Proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send away crushed ones with a release, 19to Proclaim the Acceptable Year of יהוה.”a 20And having rolled up the Scroll, He gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all in the Congregation were fixed upon Him. 21And He began to say to them, “Today this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing."
Although, when we compare the passage read from the Scroll of YashaYahu recorded in the Book of Luke with the Septuagint and Dead Sea Scroll versions, we find the missing phrase included:
“1The Spirit of the Master is upon me, because He has Anointed Me; He has sent Me to preach Good News to the poor, to heal the broken in heart, to Proclaim liberty to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind; 2to declare the Acceptable Year of the Master, and the Day of Recompense; to comfort all that mourn; 3that there should be given to them that mourn in Zion glory instead of ashes, the oil of joy to the mourners, the Garment of Glory for the spirit of heaviness: and they shall be called Generations of Righteousness, the Planting of the Master for glory.” -YashaYahu/Isaiah 61:1-3 (Septuagint)
"1The Spirit of יהוה is upon Me, because יהוה has Anointed Me to bring Good News to the oppressed, and to bind up the brokenhearted, to Proclaim freedom for the captives, and release from darkness for the prisoners, 2to Proclaim the Year of יהוה's Favor, the Day of Vengeance of our Alahym; to comfort all who mourn; to provide for those who mourn in Zion--to bestow on them a garland instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, a Mantle of Praise instead of a disheartened Spirit. And people will call them Oaks of Righteousness, the Planting of יהוה, in order to display His Splendour."
Though the Septuagint Version does seem to align with the Messiah's reading of YashaYahu (Isaiah) in Luke more precisely, both manuscripts (transcribed around 200 BC) unanimously reveal the corrupted Masoretic Text's tendency to alter certain key phrases which most often serve to prevent the reader from connecting Yahusha (The Messiah of the New Testament) with that of the Divine Prophecies regarding the Promised Messianic Authority found throughout the Old Testament. Why? Well, the answer is connected to the second part of the verse He stopped just shy of reading aloud that day. Although each of the passages (MT, LXX, DSS) all include the expectation of the Promised Messiah to "Proclaim the Acceptable Year" for His People's "deliverance", they also continue with, "the Day of Vengeance of our Alahym."
"Proclaim" translated from both the Greek Old Testament & Greek Text New Testament is Strong's G2784: kérussó: (Heralding an Authoritative and binding Decree from Yah)
Although the Messiah did not read this second part of the verse at that time, it must have rang through the minds of all Who Heard Him Speak the first part, because many Yahudym (Jews) immediately took issue with His (legally binding) Proclamation that, "Today, this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing." Why? Well, the Gospel accounts do not include a single record of the Messiah waging physical combat against the Romans, let alone all the kings of the earth. Neither did He go about leaving a trail of dead bodies in His wake, but quite the opposite! In fact, what we do find are endless accounts of miraculous healing (Yahu./John 21:25) brought into manifestation by His simple Command, for example:
Recovery of sight from the blind: Mt. 12:22-23, Mk. 10:46-52, Jn. 9:1-41
Deliverance from the curse of demonic possession: Jn. 5:1-15, Mk. 1:21-28, Lk. 9:37-42
Healing from the curse of disease/infirmity: Mt: 12:9-13, Mk. 2:1-12, Lk. 5:17-26
Resurrection from the dead: Mt. 9:18-26, Lk. 7:11-17, Jn. 11:1-44
Therefore, when Yahusha "Proclaimed": “The Spirit of יהוה is upon Me, because He has Anointed Me to bring the Good News to the poor. He has sent Me to heal the broken-hearted, to Proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send away crushed ones with a release, 19to Proclaim the Acceptable Year of יהוה,” He meant that although He had not yet come to set the captives free from their Roman oppression by declaring "the Day of Vengeance of Yahuah", He had been sent by Yah to set them from their Spiritual oppression and blindness which often manifested physically. The "Good News of the Reign (Lk. 4:43)" which He had come to officially "Proclaim in their hearing" included the mercy and grace of the Father extended to those who had transgressed the First Covenant's Law of Righteousness, and found themselves held captive under the Laws which Temporarily Atoned for Unrighteousness such as Curses of Infirmity and Separation from the Covenant People. Through Belief in Him as the prophesied Messianic Malky-Tsadaq, He explained all People could be set free from the curse of sin and death in order to walk out the Law of Righteousness The Way He now commands, and thereby "draw near to the Throne of Alahym" (Eph. 2:13, Heb. 10:22-24):
"14And after Yahuchanan (John) was delivered up, Yahusha came to Galil,
Proclaiming the Good News of the Reign of Alahym, 15and saying,
“The time has been fulfilled, and the Reign of Alahym has come near.
Repent, and Believe in the Good News.”
-Mark 1:14-15
Therefore, although this New Covenant does include certain changes to the Law which afford the Spiritually oppressed freedom from their sin, disease, separation and eternal destruction, many other Laws remain necessary for Believers to obey in "Spirit and in Truth (Jn. 4:24)" to continually enjoy that "life and life abundantly (Jn. 10:10)" He Came to offer. He explained obedience towards these remaining unchanged laws is also critical for Believers to confidently stand before Him in the Day when He returns to Judge amongst those who have rejected His Authority and subsequent commands of His Kingdom (1 Jn. 4:17-21). This, His disciples were supernaturally given the ability to understand:
"16And the eleven taught ones went away into Galil,
to the mountain which Yahusha had appointed for them.
17And when they saw Him, they bowed to Him, but some doubted.
18And Yahusha came up and spoke to them, saying,
“All Authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
19“Therefore, go and make taught ones of all the nations, immersing them
in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Set Apart Spirit,
20teaching them to guard all that I have commanded you.
And see, I am with you always, until the End of the Age.” Amĕn."
-MathathYahu/Matthew 28:16-20
"44And He said to them, “These are the Words which I Spoke to you
while I was still with you, that all have to be fulfilled that were Written in the
Torah of Mashah (Moses) and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me.”
45Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures,
46and said to them, “Thus it has been Written,
and so it was necessary for the Messiah to suffer
and to rise again from the dead the third day,
47and that repentance and forgiveness of sins
should be Proclaimed in His Name to all nations,
beginning at Yarushalam (Jerusalem),
48And you are Witnesses of these matters."
-Luke 24:44-48
However, although many onlookers often personally Witnessed His Authority exercised over the Spiritual and Physical elements, they still did not accept the interpretation of the prophecy presented by Messiah as the true interpretation. Their darkened minds could not grasp the concept as anything other than immediate physical freedom from their flesh and blood Roman oppression. Therefore, many Hebrew people rejected Him as their Promised Messianic Malky-Tsadaq--Not because He failed to fulfill the prophecy as many Sadducees, Pharisees, Masoretes, and modern Jewish rabbis and Messianic Judaizers believe, but because they misunderstood the true meaning of the prophecies regarding His First Coming found throughout the Torah of Mashah (Moses), Prophets and Psalms.
Spiritual Kingdom vs. the Wordly Kingdom
Although the Writings of the Priestly Tsadaqym (Zadokites), or "Essenes of Qumran" as they were often called, reveal they expected two separate Messiahs to fulfill both roles (one Spiritually from their captivity of sin, and one Physically from the wicked oppression of the earthly kingdoms), or one Messiah to fulfill both roles at separate times:
The Scriptures reveal the other more prominent Sects of First Century Judaism such as the Sadducees, Pharisees and Zealots expected the Promised Messiah to fulfill both roles literally and simultaneously. The Gospel accounts state many Yahudym (Jews) falsely accused Yahusha as a dangerous rival to the established Authority of the Roman Empire (Yahu./John 19:12, Luke 23:1-6, Mark 15:1-10, Math./Matt. 24:1-24), simply by Proclaiming Himself to be the Promised Messianic Malky-Tsadaq. However, as they so often did, His false accusers actually misunderstood His Words. Elsewhere the Gospel accounts record His perspective when asked to directly address this concern. He throughly explained the worldly authority of Caesar was not one He came to overthrow, rather one which He encouraged His followers to respect:
"13And they sent to Him some of the Pharisees and the Herodians, to catch Him in a word.
14And when they came, they said to Him, “Teacher, we know that You are true, and it does not concern You about anyone, for You are not partial to any, but teach The Way of Alahym in Truth. Is it right to pay taxes to Caesar, or not? 15Should we pay, or should we not pay?” And He, knowing their hypocrisy, said to them, “Why do you try Me? Bring Me a silver piece to look at.” 16And they brought it, and He said to them, “Whose likeness and inscription is this?” And they said to Him, “Caesar’s.” 17So Yahusha said to them, “Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to Alahym what is Alahym's.” And they marvelled at Him."
-Mark 12:13-17
His Own disciples understood this principal well, as He supernaturally "opened their minds to understand the prophecies". Therefore long after He ascended, they continued to encourage His followers to patiently wait for freedom from their rulers' taxation at His Second Coming, rather than wage war themselves against the Romans, as the Unbelieving Zealots eventually did in 66 AD, which ultimately led to the destruction of Yarushalam (Jerusalem) and the physical Temple, where His Spirit no longer even dwelled:
"1Let every being be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from Alahym, and the authorities that exist are appointed by Alahym.
2So he who opposes the authority withstands the Institution of Alahym, and those who withstand shall bring judgement on themselves. 3For those ruling are an object of fear, not to good works, but to evil. Do you wish to be not afraid of the authority? Do the good, and you shall have praise from it, 4for it is a servant of Alahym to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid, for it does not bear the sword in vain. For it is a servant of Alahym, a revenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. 5Therefore, it is necessary to be subject, not only because of Wrath, but also because of the Conscience. 6For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are servants of Alahym attending continually to these duties. 7Render therefore to all what is due to them: tax to whom tax is due, toll to whom toll, fear to whom fear, respect to whom respect."
-Romans 13:1-7
"1Truly brothers, my heart’s desire and prayer to Alahym for Yasharal is for Deliverance.
2For I bear them Witness that they have a "Zeal" for Alahym, but not according to Knowledge. 3For not knowing the Righteousness of Alahym, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they did not subject themselves to the Righteousness of Alahym
4For Messiah is the Goal of the ‘Torah unto Righteousness’ to everyone who Believes."
-Romans 10:1-4
Regardless, this did not stop His false accusers from informing Pontius Pilate that Yahusha planned to officially challenge Caesar's Authority as the true King of Yasharal. However, Pontius realized rather quickly these men were actually just afraid He would win the affections of His People, and only called for His Death so as not to lose the influence they'd so long enjoyed (which they often used to lord over the People for their own selfish gain, Mt: 23). He also realized his refusal to appease their selfish hearts would likely result in civil riots and many unnecessary deaths. For the sake of peace, Pontius determined One Man's life was worth the price to prevent further bloodshed. However, when directly questioned by Pilate if physical war against Roman occupation was truly His intention, Yahusha simply explained:
"29Pilate, therefore, came out to them and said, “What accusation do you bring against this Man?” 30They answered and said to him, “If He were not an evil-doer, we would not have delivered Him up to you.” 31Then Pilate said to them, “You take Him and judge Him according to your law.” The Yahudym (Jews) said to him, “It is not right for us to put anyone to death,” 32in order that the Word of Yahusha might be filled which He spoke, signifying by what death He was about to die. 33Then Pilate went back into the palace, and called Yahusha, and said to Him, “Are You the Sovereign of the Yahudym?” 34Yahusha answered him, “Do you say this from yourself, or did others talk to you about Me? 35Pilate answered, “Am I a Yahudite? Your Own nation and the chief priests have delivered You to me. What did You do?” 36Yahusha answered, “My Reign is not of this world. If My Reign were of this world, My Servants would fight, so that I should not be Delivered to the Yahudym. But presently, My Reign is not from here.” 37Then Pilate said to Him, “You are a Sovereign, then?” Yahusha answered, “You say it because I Am a Sovereign. For this I was born, and for this I have Come into the world, that I should bear Witness to the Truth. Everyone who is of the Truth hears My Voice.” 38Pilate said to Him, “What is truth?” And when he had said this, he went out again to the Yahudym, and said to them, “I find no guilt in Him. 39But you have a habit that I shall release someone to you at the Passover. Do you wish, then, that I release to you the Sovereign of the Yahudym?” 40Then they all shouted again, saying, “Not this One, but Barabba!” And Barabba was a robber."
-Yahu./John 18:29-40
Although some modern translations fail to perfectly translate this particular detail, the Greek Manuscript of the same shows He clearly articulated to Pilate that His Kingdom does not yet currently Reign over the "kósmos" or established "world order":
Strong's G2889: kósmos (literally, "something ordered"; properly, an "ordered system")
i.e. the world, universe; worldly affairs; the inhabitants of the world; adornment
"36Yahusha answered, “My Reign is not of this world.
If My Reign were of this world, My servants would fight,
so that I should not be delivered to the Yahudym.
But presently (Strong's Greek: 3568 νῦν),
My Reign is not from here.”
-Yahu./John 18:36
Therefore, He states that although His Spiritual Authority is relevant and binding in the Father's eyes, but He does not currently enforce that Authority on the kingdoms of the world. Other passages reveal who does currently rule the "world order":
"8Again, the devil took Him up on a very high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world, and their esteem, 9and said to Him, “All these I shall give You if You fall down and worship me.” 10Then Yahusha said to him, “Go, Satan! For it has been Written, ‘You shall worship Yahuah your Alahym, and Him alone you shall Serve.’""
-MathathYahu/Matthew 4:8-10
"18We know that everyone having been born of Alahym does not sin, but the one having been born of Alahym guards himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.
19We know that we are of Alahym, and all the world lies in the wicked one.
20And we know that the Son of Alahym has Come and has given us an Understanding,
so that we might know the true One. And we are in the true One,
in His Son Yahusha Messiah. This is the true Alahym and Everlasting Life."
-1 Yahuchanan/John 5:18-20
As we see, it is currently the evil one (haSatan) who rules the world order in darkness (i.e. lack of belief/knowledge; sin, iniquity, disease, death and destruction), rather than the Messiah, Our Eternal High Priest and King of Righteousness and Peace. But, isn't this self-contradictory? Why would Yahusha of Natsarath claim be this Promised Malky-Tsadaq, having fulfilled the prophecies which seems to require quite literally overthrowing the sovereigns of the earth and freeing His People as in the Day of the Yubaly (Jubilee)--Although otherwise declare, "All Authority has been given to Him in heaven and on earth," while also stating His "Reign is not of this world", and yet multitudes of kingdoms have reigned throughout these past two millennia, many of which refuse to "bow the knee" and quite literally serve haSatan to this day? And still, He also calls for His People to "respect the sovereign authority" of those Gentile nations in which they dwell?! Was He confused? Was He double-minded? Was He a False Teacher? Are the passages really all just allegorical? Is His Reign simply one to be realized sometime in the distant future, during, or after the "Millennial Reign" as some suggest? Or could some just misunderstand which kind of Kingdom He currently has? The answer rests in the descriptions of His Ministry:
"22Then they brought to Him one who was demon-possessed, blind and dumb.
And He healed him, so that the blind and dumb man both spoke and saw.
23And all the crowds were amazed and said, “Is this the Son of Daud (David)?”
24But when the Pharisees heard it they said, “This one does not cast out demons except by Be‛elzebul, the ruler of the demons.” 25And Yahusha knew their thoughts, and said to them, “Every reign divided against itself is laid waste, and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand. 26And if Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself.
How then does his reign stand? 27And if I, by Be‛elzebul, do cast out demons,
by whom do your sons cast them out? Because of this, they shall be your Judges.
28But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of Alahym,
then the Reign of Alahym has come upon you."
-Matthew 12:22-28
"37“You know what Word came to be throughout all Yahudah (Judea), beginning from Galil after the Immersion which Yahuchanan (John) Proclaimed: 38how Alahym did Anoint Yahusha of Natsarath with the Set Apart Spirit and with Power, Who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for Alahym was with Him."
-Acts 10:37-38
"20And having been asked by the Pharisees when the Reign of Alahym would come,
He answered them and said, “The Reign of Alahym does not come
with intent watching, 21nor shall they say, ‘Look here!’ or ‘Look there!’
For look, the Reign of Alahym is in your midst!”
-Luke 17:20-21
"17For the Reign of Alahym is not eating and drinking,
but Righteousness and Peace and Joy in the Set Apart Spirit."
-Romans 14:17
As we see, His Kingdom is one which has already "Come Near to the broken-hearted", again, the answer is connected to the first part of the verse found in the Scroll which He then set aside. As of now, His Reign is one which currently presides over and works through those who follow Him, and the spiritual authorities and spiritual principalities on both Heaven and Earth:
SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY
"12Because we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities,
against authorities, against the world-rulers of the darkness of this Age,
against spiritual matters of wickedness in the heavenlies.
13Because of this, take up the complete Armour of Alahym,
so that you have power to withstand in the wicked day,
and having done all, to stand."
-Ephesians 6:12-13
"17And the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Master,
even the demons are subject to us in Your Name.”
18And He said to them, “I saw Satan falling out of the heaven as lightning.
19See, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions,
and over all the power of the enemy, and none at all shall hurt you.
20But do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you,
but rather rejoice because your names have been Written in the heavens.”
-Luke 10:17-20
DOCTRINAL AUTHORITY
"3For though we walk in the flesh, we do not fight according to the flesh.
4For the weapons we fight with are not fleshly, but Mighty in Alahym for overthrowing strongholds, 5overthrowing reasonings and every high matter that exalts itself against the Knowledge of Alahym, taking captive every thought to make it obedient to the Messiah,
6and being ready to punish all disobedience, when your obedience is complete."
-2 Corinthians 10:3-6
GOVERNING & PRIESTLY AUTHORITY OVER ALL BELIEVERS
"19The woman said to Him, “Master, I see that You are a Prophet.
20Our fathers worshipped on this mountain, but you people say that in Yarushalam is the place where one needs to worship.” 21Yahusha said to her, “Woman, believe Me, the Hour is Coming when you shall neither on this mountain, nor in Yarushalam, worship the Father. 22You worship what you do not know. We worship what we know, because the Deliverance is of the Yahudym. 23But the Hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in Spirit and Truth, for the Father also does seek such to worship Him.
24Alahym is Spirit, and those who worship Him need to worship in Spirit and Truth.”
25The woman said to Him, “I know that Messiah is Coming, the One who is called Anointed. When that One Comes, He shall announce to us all.”
26Yahusha said to her, “I Who Am speaking to you Am He.”"
-1 Yahuchanan/John 4:19-26
"8But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi,’ for One is your Teacher, the Messiah, and you are all brothers. 9And do not call anyone on earth your father, for One is your Father, He Who is in the Heavens. 10Neither be called leaders, for One is your Leader, the Messiah.
11But the greatest among you shall be your servant. 12And whoever exalts himself shall be humbled, and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted. 13But woe to you, Scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you shut up the Reign of the Heavens before men, for you do not go in, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in. 14Woe to you, Scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you eat up widows’ houses, and for a show make long prayers. Because of this you shall receive greater Judgement. 15Woe to you, Scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you go about the land and the sea to win one convert, and when he is won, you make him a son of Gehenna twofold more than yourselves."
-MathathYahu/Matthew 23:8-15
"11Truly, then, if perfection were through the Luym (Levitical) Priesthood – for under it the people were given the Torah – why was there still need for another priest to arise according to the Order of Malky-Tsadaq, and not be called according to the Order of Aharon? 12For the priesthood being changed, of necessity there takes place a change of law also. 13For He of Whom this is said belongs to another tribe, from which no one had attended at the Altar. 14For it is perfectly clear that our Master arose from Yahudah, a tribe about which Mashah never spoke of concerning Priesthood, 15and this is clearer still, if another Priest arises in the likeness of Malky-Tsadaq, 16who has become, not according to the Torah of fleshly command, but according to the Power of an Endless Life,
17for He does Witness, “You are a priest forever according to the Order of Malky-Tsadaq.”
18For there is indeed a setting aside of the former command because of its weakness and unprofitableness, 19for the Torah perfected naught, but the bringing in of a Better Expectation, through which we draw near to Alahym."
-Abarym/Hebrews 7:11-18
"4Drawing near to Him, a Living Stone – rejected indeed by men, but Chosen by Alahym and precious – 5you also, as Living Stones, are being built up, a Spiritual House, a Set Apart Priesthood, to offer up spiritual slaughter offerings acceptable to Alahym through Yahusha Messiah. 6Because it is contained in the Scripture, “See, I lay in Tsiyon a chief corner-stone, Chosen, Precious, and he who Believes on Him shall by no means be put to shame.” 7This Preciousness, then, is for you who Believe; but to those who are disobedient, “The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief corner-stone,” 8and “A stone of stumbling and a rock that makes for falling,” who stumble because they are disobedient to the Word, to which they also were appointed. 9But you are a Chosen Race, a Royal Priesthood, a Set Apart Nation, a People for a Possession, that you should Proclaim the praises of Him Who called you out of Darkness into His Marvellous Light, 10who once were not a People, but now the People of Alahym; who had not obtained Compassion, but now obtained Compassion." -1 Peter 2:4-10
"1Therefore, having this Service, even as we received Compassion,
we do not lose heart, 2but have renounced the secret ways of shame, not walking in craftiness nor falsifying the Word of Alahym, but by the Manifestation of the Truth Recommending ourselves to every human conscience, in the Sight of Alahym. 3And indeed, if our Good News has been Veiled, it has been Veiled in those who are perishing,
4in whom the mighty one of this Age has blinded the minds of the unbelieving,
so that the Enlightening of the Good News of the Esteem of Messiah, Who is the likeness of Alahym, does not shine on them. 5For we do not Proclaim ourselves, but Messiah Yahusha the Master, and ourselves your Servants for the sake of Yahusha. 6For Alahym, Who said, “Let Light shine out of Darkness,” is the One Who has shone in our hearts for the Enlightening of the Knowledge of the Esteem of Alahym in the face of Yahusha Messiah."
-2 Corinthians 4:1-6
Therefore, no longer does Luy (Levi) hold the Spiritual Authority over the Temple and Priesthood, or Authority to Teach and Judge the Children of Yasharal as in the Age before. His solitary sacrifice has been given "once and for all," so the entire Body of Messiah can become that "Set Apart Temple" where the Set Apart Spirit now dwells in order to lead us into complete Sanctification, and Empower us to Proclaim His Goodness to the world as His Set Apart Nation of Royal Priests (1 Peter 2 & Eph. 2). No more does Yahudah (Judah) hold the Sceptre of Spiritual Authority; He now has the Mantle of Government (Gen. 49:10, Isa. 9:6), requiring His People to now follow His commands (precisely The Way He has shown us by the Word and Example of Him and the Disciples whom He has Appointed), rather than the misguided traditions and commandments of men:
"25But one came and reported to them, saying, “Look, the men whom you put in prison
are standing in the Set Apart Place and teaching the people!”
26Then the captain went with the officers and brought them, not with force,
for they feared the people, lest they should be stoned. 27And having brought them,
they set them before the Council and the high priest asked them, 28saying,
“Did we not strictly command you not to teach in this Name?
And look, you have filled Yarushalam (Jerusalem) with Your Teaching,
and intend to bring the blood of this Man upon us!”
29And Kĕpha and the other Emissaries answering, said,
“We have to obey Alahym rather than men.
30The Alahym of our fathers raised up Yahusha Whom you laid hands on,
hanging Him on a timber. 31Him, a Prince and a Saviour,
Alahym has exalted to His Right Hand,
to give Repentance to Yasharal and Forgiveness of Sins.
32And we are His Witnesses to these matters, and so also is
the Set Apart Spirit Whom Alahym has given to those who obey Him.”
-Acts 5:25-32
Just as the Qumran Tsadaqym (Zadokites) suspected, His First Coming was meant to set them free from their Spiritual Bondage, whereas His Second Coming will be the Time when the physical kingdoms of earth that reject this free gift of Salvation are destroyed:
"46I have Come as a Light into the world,
so that no one who Believes in Me should stay in Darkness.
47And if anyone hears My Words but does not watch over them, I do not Judge him.
For I did not Come to Judge the world, but to Save the world.
48He who rejects Me, and does not receive My Words, has one who Judges him:
the Word that I have spoken shall Judge him in the Last Day."
-Yahuchanan/John 12:46-48
As the prophecies elsewhere express, it is during His Second Coming when "His Enemies are made a footstool for His Feet," during the "Day of Vengeance", at which time He may Righteously Judge those who have heard the Good News of His First Coming, and have yet rejected His Spiritual Atonement and Anointed Authority over their lives. That will also be when His Reign, which He currently "rules in the midst of His Enemies," shall be "offered up to the Father":
“20But now Messiah has been raised from the dead,
and has become the First Fruit of those having fallen asleep.
21For since death is through a man, resurrection of the dead is also through a Man.
22For as all die in Adam, so also all shall be made alive in Messiah.
23And each in his own order: Messiah the First Fruits,
then those who are of Messiah at His Coming,
24then the End when He delivers up the Reign to Alahym the Father,
when He has brought to naught all rule and all authority and power.
25For He has to Reign until He has "put all enemies under His feet".
26The last enemy to be brought to naught is death.
27For “He has put all under His feet.”
But when He says “all are put under Him",
it is clear that He Who put all under Him is excepted.
28And when all are made subject to Him,
then the Son Himself shall also be subject to Him
Who put all under Him, in order that Alahym be all, in all.”
-1 Corinthians 15:20-27
"30Truly, then, having overlooked these Times of Ignorance,
Alahym now commands all men everywhere to repent,
31because He has set a Day on which He is going to Judge the world
in Righteousness by a Man Whom He has Appointed,
having given proof of this to all by raising Him from the dead."
-Acts 17:31
"15And the Seventh Messenger sounded,
and there came to be loud voices in the Heaven, saying,
“The Reign of this world has become the Reign of our Master,
and of His Messiah, and He shall Reign forever and ever!”"
-Revelation 11:15
"6And I heard as the voice of a Great Crowd,
as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunders,
saying, “HallaluYah, for יהוה Al Shaddai Reigns!
7Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him praise,
for the Marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife prepared Herself.”
8And to Her it was given to be dressed in Fine Linen, clean and bright,
for the Fine Linen is the Righteousnesses of the Set Apart Ones.
9And he said to me, “Write, ‘Blessed are those who have been called
to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb!’ ”
And he said to me, “These are the true Words of Alahym.”
10And I fell at his feet to worship him, but he said to me,
“See, do not do it! I am your fellow servant,
and of your brothers who possess the Witness of Yahusha.
Worship Alahym! For the Witness of Yahusha is the Spirit of Prophecy.”
11And I saw the heaven opened, and there was a white horse.
And He Who sat on him was called Trustworthy and True,
and in Righteousness He judges and fights.
12And His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns,
having a Name that had been Written, which no one had perceived except Himself
–13and having been dressed in a robe dipped in blood
– and His Name is called: The Word of יהוה.
14And the armies in the heaven, dressed in fine linen,
white and clean, followed Him on white horses.
15And out of His mouth goes a sharp sword,
that with it He should smite the nations.
And He shall Shepherd them with a Rod of Iron.
And He treads the winepress of the fierceness and Wrath of Al Shaddai.
16And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name Written:
'Sovereign of Sovereigns and Master of Masters'.
17And I saw one Messenger standing in the sun,
and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in mid-heaven,
“Come and gather together for the Supper of the Great Alahym,
18to eat the flesh of sovereigns, and the flesh of commanders,
and the flesh of strong ones, and the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them,
and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great.”
19And I saw the Beast, and the sovereigns of the earth, and their armies,
gathered together to fight Him Who sat on the horse and His army.
20And the Beast was seized, and with him the False Prophet who
worked Signs in his presence, by which he led astray
those who received the Mark of the Beast and those who worshipped his Image.
The two were thrown alive into the lake of fire burning with sulphur.
21And the rest were killed with the Sword which came from
the mouth of Him Who sat on the horse,
and all the birds were filled with their flesh."
-Revelation 19:6-21
The Malky-Tsadaq Order
Strong's H1700: dabra (manner) - from H1696 meaning: "to put into order by speaking"
Strong's G5010: taxis - from G5021 meaning:
a regular arrangement: i.e. (in time) fixed succession (of rank or character);
official dignity: i.e., order. “after the fixed succession of Malky-Tsadaq”
In Hebrews 7, we learn how the "Order" of the Malky-Tsadaq Priesthood Order of Appointment was determined—After each Malky-Tsadaq High Priest died, instead of automatically handing his Mantle down to his firstborn son as was expected by the torah during the Age of the Luym (Levitical) Priesthood, the Malky-Tsadaq's Authority was passed to the next most Righteous person in the Set Apart Covenant lineage. However, the notation of this subtle distinction between the Levitical and Malky-Tsadaq Orders of Appointment serves to further express how the Messiah's Appointment as High Priest is notably different from both. The passage explains because He has an "endless life", and will therefore never die like all those who served as High Priest before Him, He then fully qualifies to fulfill the prophetic vision of Psalm 110:
"1For this Malky-Tsadaq, Sovereign of Shalam, Priest of the Most High Alahym,
who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the sovereigns and blessed him,
2to whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all, his name being translated, indeed, first, ‘Sovereign of Righteousness,’ and then also Sovereign of Shalam, that is, ‘Sovereign of Peace,’ 3without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but having been made like the Son of Alahym, remains a priest for all time. 4Now see how great this one was, to whom even the ancestor Abraham gave a tenth of the choicest booty. 5And truly, those who are of the sons of Lĕwi (Levi), who receive the priesthood, have a command to receive tithes from the people according to the Torah, that is, from their brothers, though they have come from the loins of Abraham, 6however, the one whose genealogy is not derived from them received tithes from Abraham, and blessed the one who held the Promises. 7And it is beyond all dispute that the Lesser is blessed by the Better. 8And here it is men who die that receive tithes,
but there it is Someone of Whom it is Witnessed that He Lives.
9And one might say that through Abraham even Lĕwi, who received tithes, gave tithes,
10for he was still in the loins of his father when Malky-Tsadaq met him.
11Truly, then, if perfection were through the Luym (Levitical) priesthood
– for under it the people were given the Torah –
why was there still need for another priest to arise
according to the Order of Malky-Tsadaq, and not be called
according to the Order of Aharon? 12For the priesthood being changed,
of necessity there takes place a change of law also."
-Abarym/Hebrews 7:1-12
As we see, the passage goes on to explain the Messiah's "endless life" serves as the very foundation for which a "change of law and priesthood" or "Transfer of Authority", was made possible to manifest. The chapters just preceding this passage explain this "Change of Law and Priesthood" was always purposed as an integral part of the Covenant Promise to Abraham. As such, the author declares the Messiah's Appointment was not Self-appointed, nor Appointed by the High Priest or King of Yasharal, Sanhedrin, or any other official rabbinical institution, but just as prophesied in Psalms 110, Appointed by the Most High Yah:
"13For Alahym, having Promised Abraham,
since He could swear by no one greater,
swore by Himself, 14saying, “Truly, blessing I shall bless you,
and increasing I shall increase you.”
15And so, after being patient, he obtained the Promise.
16For men do indeed swear by the one greater,
and an Oath for Confirmation is for them an end of all dispute.
17In this way Alahym, resolving to show even more clearly
to the Heirs of Promise the unchangeableness of His purpose,
Confirmed it by an Oath, 18so that by two unchangeable matters
in which it is impossible for Alahym to lie, we might have strong encouragement,
we who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the Expectation set before us,
19which we have as an anchor of the life, both safe and firm,
and entering into that within the Veil,
20where Yahusha has entered as a forerunner for us,
having become High Priest forever
according to the Order of Malky-Tsadaq."
-Hebrews 6:13-20
"1For every priest taken from among men is Appointed on behalf of men in matters relating to Alahym, to offer both gifts and offerings for sins, 2being able to have a measure of feeling for those not knowing and being led astray, since he himself is also surrounded by weakness. 3And on account of this he has to offer for sins – as for the people, so also for himself. 4And no one obtains this esteem for Himself, but he who is called by Alahym, even as Aharon also was. 5So also the Messiah did not extol Himself to become High Priest, but it was He Who said to Him, “You are My Son, today I have brought You forth.” 6As He also says in another place, “You are a Priest forever according to the Order of Malky-Tsadaq,” 7Who, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and petitions with strong crying and tears to Him Who was able to save Him from death, and was heard because of His Reverent Fear, 8though being a Son, He learned obedience by what He suffered. 9And having been perfected, He became the Causer of Everlasting Deliverance to all those obeying Him, 10having been designated by Alahym a High Priest “According to the Order of Malky-Tsadaq. 9And having been perfected, He became the Causer of Everlasting Deliverance to all those obeying Him, 10having been designated by Alahym a High Priest “according to the Order of Malky-Tsadaq,”
-Abarym/Hebrews 5:1-10
“1For the Torah, having a shadow of the good matters to come,
and not the image itself of the matters, was never able to make perfect those who draw near with the same slaughter offerings which they offer continually year by year. 2Otherwise, would they not have ceased to be offered? Because those who Served, once Cleansed, would have had no more Consciousness of Sins. 3But in those offerings is a Reminder of Sins year by year. 4For it is impossible for blood of bulls and goats to take away sins. 5Therefore, Coming into the world, He says, “Slaughtering and meal offering You did not desire, but a body You have prepared for Me. 6In burnt offerings and offerings for sin You did not delight. 7Then I said, ‘See, I come – in the Roll of the Book it has been written concerning Me – to do Your desire, O Alahym.’” 8Saying above, “Slaughter and meal offering, and burnt offerings, and offerings for sin You did not desire, nor delighted in,” which are offered according to the Torah, 9then He said, “See, I come to do Your desire, O Alahym,” He takes away the first to establish the second. 10By that desire we have been set apart through the offering of the body of יהושע Messiah once for all. 11And indeed every priest stands day by day doing Service, and repeatedly offering the same slaughter offerings which are never able to take away sins. 12But He, having offered one slaughter offering for sins for all time, 'sat down at the Right Hand of Alahym, 13waiting from that time onward until His enemies are made a footstool for His feet'. 14For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are being set apart. 15And the Set Apart Spirit also Witnesses to us, for after having said before, 16“This is the Covenant that I shall make with them after those days, says יהוה, giving My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I shall write them,” 17and, “Their sins and their lawlessnesses I shall remember no more.” 18Now where there is forgiveness of these, there is no longer a slaughter offering for sin. 19So, brothers, having boldness to enter into the Set Apart Place by the blood of Yahusha, 20by a New and Living Way which He Instituted for us, through the Veil, that is, His flesh, 21and having a High Priest over the House of Alahym, 22let us draw near with a true heart in Completeness of Belief, having our hearts sprinkled from a wicked conscience and our bodies washed with clean water.”
-Abarym/Hebrews 10:11-22
The Fourteen Malky-Tsadaq High Priests
Although Scripture is quite clear Messiah has become the current and final Reigning High Priest, and more specifically the last Malky-Tsadaq High Priest, we know others Served in this particular Order of Priesthood long before Him. But who? Obviously, the King of Shalam (Salem) in Genesis 14 was of this Order, but who else if this priesthood passed authority based on Righteousness through the Covenantal Lineage as Hebrews 7 declares? We find a hint in Chapter Five of the Book of Romans, where Paul discusses the transfer of authority from the First Covenant to the Second in great detail, although one stands out:
"But death Reigned from Adam until Mashah (Moses)."
-Romans 5:14
The verse seems odd at first glance, as we know mankind was not all of a sudden afforded eternal life during the time of the First Exodus... What Paul understood and pained to express throughout the chapter, was the Promise to Adam and Eve for their "Seed Who'd Come to crush the Serpent's Head (Gen. 3:15)" was indeed Messiah. However, the purpose in His First Coming was necessary to reverse the curse which Adam and Eve's transgression had brought in. Because they refused to adhere to the Father's Command, death to all humanity was necessary. And not just physical death, but eternal destruction. To appease the Father's Wrath until the "Seed should Come", much like the animal skins which Yah made to replace the insufficient fig leaves they'd made to "cover their shame" (Gen. 2:25-3:21), so each Malky-Tsadaq Priest was required to offer the blood of animals in order to temporarily cover transgression. This was the case throughout the entire First Covenant Age, even before Yasharal was ever given the further "Added Laws for Transgression (Gal. 3:19)," which codified a much grander process of sacrificial offering for Father's Set Apart Nation which had grown significantly during their time in Egyptian captivity (Exo. 1:12).
Secondly, although many Biblical scholars interpret verse 5 in 2 Peter 2 to exclusively refer to Nuach/Noah’s family, due to a similar comment in 1 Peter 3:
"18Because even Messiah once suffered for sins, the Righteous for the Unrighteous, to bring you to Alahym, having been put to death indeed in flesh but made alive in the Spirit,
19in which also He went and Proclaimed unto the spirits in prison, 20who were disobedient at one time when the patience of Alahym waited in the days of Nuach (Noah), while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight beings, were saved through water, 21which figure now also saves us: Immersion – not a putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward Alahym – through the Resurrection of Yahusha Messiah, 22Who, having gone into heaven, is at the Right hand of Alahym, angels and authorities and powers having been subjected to Him."
-1 Peter 3:18-22
It is more likely this specific number actually refers to the 8 High Priests of the Malky-Tsadaq Order of Succession by the time of the Great Flood (based on the way the verse is rendered in the Greek manuscripts). As we know, the only humans to survive the flood included Noah, his wife, their three sons and their sons’ three wives, a total of eight people (Gen. 7:13). So, it is easy to see why some Modern English translations may interpret the verse to say, "and did not spare the ancient world, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, with seven others, when He brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly (NASB)." However, this interpretation seems incongruent with the description we find in Genesis which declares Nuach alone, "Found favour in the eyes of Yahuah," because "Nuach was Just/Righteous (Tsaddyq/dikaios), perfect in his generations. Nuach walked with Alahym." (Gen. 6:8-9). At the time of the flood, his three sons are mentioned, and even before then described as such that, "grew up and went in The Ways of Yahuah, in all that their Mathushalach and Nuach their father taught them (Yashar 5:19)," but they are not yet described as "Tsaddyqym". In fact, we know one of his sons was cursed very soon after the flood (Gen. 9:18-28), therefore Scripture says they were all saved only on account of their father's Righteousness (Gen. 7:1), just as the verse in Jubilees further explains:
"And as for all those who corrupted their ways and their thoughts before the flood,
no man's person was accepted save that of Nuach alone; for his person was accepted in behalf of his sons, whom Alahym saved from the waters of the flood on his account; for his heart was Righteous in all his ways, according as it was commanded regarding him, and he had not departed from ought that was Ordained for him." -Yubalym/Jubilees 5:19
Therefore, in context, 2 Peter 2:5 should be interpreted according to the more literal translation: "Noah, the 8th...", instead of the rather liberal translation: "Noah... with seven others". However, it is also worth mentioning the term "preacher" as translated from the NASB in 2 Peter 2:5, likewise fails to meet the Author's intent. The Greek term used to describe Nuach (Noah) isn't the usual generic term for "Preacher", which is most often translated from "dialegomai". The term used in 2 Peter 2:5 is "kḗryks", an official title in Greek which carries the specific connotation of an Appointed Position of Authority (see also: 1 Tim. 1:11 & 1 Tim 2:7). This term is reserved for the designated person sent out on behalf of their Sovereign/Master to publicly Declare any critical news, so all those hearing their Proclamation may be considered officially informed, and held legally accountable to the message read or spoken aloud. As such, the English term "Herald" would be a better translation, if we are to stay true the Text:
Strong's G2783: kḗryks (from G2784: kērýssō, "to herald, proclaim") – properly, a herald,
or "town-crier" proclaiming critical news for the public with a binding sense of authority
Therefore, the Greek doesn't use the verbiage, "but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, with seven others, when..". A direct translation would render the passage,
“4For if Alahym did not spare the Messengers who sinned, but sent them to Tartaros,
and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be kept for Judgement, 5and did not spare the world of old, preserved Nuach (Noah), the "8th Herald of Righteousness", bringing in the flood on the world of the wicked, 6and having reduced to ashes the cities of Sadam and Amarah (Sodom and Gomorrah) condemned them to destruction – having made them an example to those who afterward would live wickedly, 7and rescued Righteous Lut (Lot), who was oppressed with the indecent behaviour of the lawless 8(for day after day that Righteous man, dwelling among them, tortured his Righteous being by seeing and hearing their lawless works), 9then Yahuah knows how to rescue the Reverent Ones from Trial and to keep the Unrighteous unto the Day of Judgement, to be punished, 10and most of all those walking after the flesh in filthy lust and despising Authority – bold, headstrong, speaking evil of esteemed ones, 11whereas Messengers who are greater in strength and power do not bring a slanderous accusation against them before the Master.”
-2 Peter 2:4-9
But still, how did Peter know Nuach was a "Herald of Justice" or "Proclaimer of Righteousness," if Genesis does not explicitly state this? This description of Noah is unique to the passage in 2 Peter 2, unless we consider the more ancient Books of the Inspired Text which Peter would have read, such as Yashar which goes into further detail:
"And all the sons of men who knew Yahuah, died in that year before Yahuah brought evil upon them; for Yahuah willed them to die, so as not to behold the evil that Alahym would bring upon their brothers and relatives, as he had so declared to do. In that time, Yahuah said to Nuach and Mathushalach, "Stand forth and Proclaim to the sons of men all the Words that I spoke to you in those days, perchance they may turn from their evil ways, and I will then repent of the evil and will not bring it. And Nuach and Mathushalach stood forth, and said in the ears of the sons of men, all that Alahym had spoken concerning them. But the sons of men would not hearken, neither would they incline their ears to all their Declarations. And it was after this that Yahuah said to Nuach, 'The end of all flesh is Come before me, on account of their evil deeds, and behold I will destroy the earth.'"
-Yashar/Jasher 5:21-25
As we see, Nuach was sent on behalf of Yahuah as a literal, "Herald of Righteousness" (another term for Adondai-Tsedeq and/or Malky-Tsadaq). Peter makes this distinction by citing the world's irreverence, or their rejection of Nuach's Proclamation for Repentance unto the Law of Righteousness, as the reason for their destruction. So, regardless of the exact interpretation, this specific reference seems to be quite relevant to the precise Order of the Malky-Tsadaq Priesthood, as well as symbolic. This becomes evermore apparent as Peter goes on to define the Righteous as those who submit to the Father’s commands, and the Unrighteous as those who are "irreverent" rebel against the Father’s Commands and ultimately reject His Sovereign Authority over their lives. He further explains the Great Flood was given as an example for all future generations, so as to be aware the Great Tribulation and Day of Judgement will eventually cleanse the world from all Unrighteousness, and to therefore guard our hearts against its natural proclivity towards lawlessness. This sentiment is further explored in the Book of Ezekiel as a warning for those who are found rejecting the Messiah's Malky-Tsadaq Righteous Authority, and rather submitting to the Unbelieving Yahudym and Luym attempting to Unrighteously return to power during the New Covenant Age (Eze. 8-10). He explains in that Day the Judgement will be so decisive, not even the children of the Righteous shall be saved, if they are not "Tsaddyq/dikaios" themselves:
"12And the Word of Yahuah came again to me, saying, 13“Son of man, when a land sins against Me to commit a trespass, and I shall stretch out My hand against it, and cut off its supply of bread and send scarcity of food on it, and cut off man and beast from it, 14even though these three men, Nuach (Noah), Danyal (Daniel), and Yuab (Job), were in it, they would deliver only themselves by their Righteousness,” declares the Master Yahuah. 15“If I cause an evil beast to pass through the land, and it shall bereave it, and it shall be a wasteland, so that no man passes through because of the beasts, 16even though these three men were in it, as I live,” declares the Master Yahuah, “they would deliver neither sons nor daughters. They alone would be delivered, but the land be a wasteland. 17Or if I bring a sword on that land, and I shall say, ‘Sword, go through the land,’ and I shall cut off man and beast from it, 18even though these three men were in its midst, as I live,” declares the Master Yahuah, “they would deliver neither sons nor daughters, for they alone would be delivered. 19Or if I send a pestilence into that land, and I shall pour out My Wrath on it in blood, to cut off from it man and beast, 20even though Nuach, Danyal, and Yuab were in it, as I live,” declares the Master Yahuah, “they would deliver neither son nor daughter. They would deliver their own lives by their Righteousness.” 21For thus said the Master Yahuah, “How much more it shall be when I send My four evil judgments on Yarushalam: the sword and scarcity of food and evil beasts and pestilence, to cut off man and beast from it? 22But see, there shall be left in it a Remnant who are brought out, both sons and daughters. See, they are coming out to you, and you shall see their ways and their deeds, and shall be comforted concerning the evil which I have brought upon Yarushalam – all that I have brought upon it. 23And they shall comfort you, when you see their ways and their deeds. And you shall know that it was not for naught that I have done whatever I did in it,” declares the Master Yahuah." -Yachazqal/Ezekiel 14:12-23
Therefore, it is difficult to believe this number to be completely irrelevant, as Nuach (Noah) would have surely been the 8th Priest in the Succession of Appointment under the Malky-Tsadaq Order:
1) Adam/Adam (Red/Man—“Sinful Man”): lived 130 yrs, had Seth, died at 930 yrs.
2) Shath/Seth (Appointed) = lived 105 yrs, had Enosh, died at 912 yrs.
3) Enush/Enosh (Mortal) = lived 90 yrs, had Kenan, died at 905 yrs.
4) Kanaan/Canaan (Sorrow) = lived 70 yrs, had Mahalalel, died at 910 yrs.
5) Mahalal’al/Mahalalel (The Blessed Alahym) = lived 65 yrs, had Jared, died at 895 yrs.
6) Yarad/Jared (Shall Come Down) = lived 162 yrs, had Chanak, died at 962 yrs.
7) Chanak/Enoch (Teaching) lived 65 yrs, had Mathushalach, however was "taken" into the Garden of Eden at 365 yrs (before Jared died), so the succession skipped Enoch and transferred to his son Mathushalach/Methuselah (His Death Shall Bring), who lived 187 yrs, had Lamach, died at 969 yrs.
8) However, before Mathushalach died, Lamach/Lemek (The Despairing) lived 182 yrs, and had Nuach/Noah, and died at 777 yrs, making Nuach/Noah (Rest/Comfort) the 8th Malky-Tsadaq High Priest in the Order of Succession.
However, this Mantle of Authority would have continued beyond Nuach, as the verse states the Reign continued on "until Mashah". To understand the remaining Order of Succession, we must consider our next clue. Although Abraham eventually became the recipient of the Covenant Promises of Yah, Abraham was not taught The Ways of the Most High by his father Tarach/Terah (Yahusha/Joshua 24:2), who himself was in fact an idolater and prince in Nimrod’s kingdom (Yashar/Jasher 22:25). Then, who would have taught Abraham such great reverence towards the Father in Heaven? We find an explanation in the Book of Yashar:
“4Haran was forty-two years old when he begat Saray, which was in the tenth year of the life of Abram; and in those days Abram and his mother and nurse went out from the cave,
as the king and his subjects had forgotten the affair of Abram. 5And when Abram
came out from the cave, he went to Nuach (Noah) and his son Sham (Shem),
and he remained with them to learn the Instruction of Yahuah and His Ways,
and no man knew where Abram was, and Abram served Nuach and Sham
his son for a long time. 6And Abram was in Nuach's house thirty-nine years,
and Abram knew Yahuah from three years old, and he went in The Ways of Yahuah
until the day of his death, as Nuach and his son Sham had taught him;
and all the sons of the earth in those days greatly transgressed against Yahuah,
and they rebelled against Him and they served other alahym (mighty ones/deities),
and they forgot Alahym Who had created them in the earth; and the inhabitants of the earth made unto themselves, at that time, every man his aluah;
alahym of wood and stone which could neither speak, hear, nor deliver,
and the sons of men served them and they became their alahym.”
-Yashar/Jasher 9:4-6
We see here Nuach (Noah) and his son Sham (Shem) were responsible for teaching Abram "The Way of Yahuah" which included His "instructions", or "Laws". In fact, this conversion from his Gentile beginnings into Belief and Obedience towards The Way of Yahuah is precisely what makes Abraham the first "Hebrew" or "Abary" meaning "To Cross Over" (out of death into life/out of paganism into righteousness). This is also why He is called the "Father of the Hebrews," and why the Covenant Promise He eventually received included the expectation that His Seed will bless the "nations" aka "Gentiles" as the Messiah would so do by offering a New Way into Covenant for those who were born into paganism. But, this doesn't explain why Abraham knew to give a tenth of his war spoils to the Malky-Tsadaq High Priest. It is one thing to honor a man, it is altogether another to offer up a tithe to a man. Some speculate this was simply a gift of peace to this man acting in his role as the King of Shalam. However, the Book of Yubalym (Jubilees) shares more light on the concept of this particular tithe:
"And in this year came Kedorla'omer, king of Eylam, and Amraphel, king of Shinar, and Aryok king of Ellacar, and Tid'al, king of Nations, and slew the king of Amorah, and the king of Cedom fled, and many fell through wounds in the valley of Siddiym, by the Salt Sea.
And they took captive Cedom and Adam and Tseviym, and they took captive Lot also, the son of Abram's brother, and all his possessions, and they went to Dan. And one who had escaped came and told Abram that his brother's son had been taken captive and Abram armed his household servants; for Abram, and for his seed, a Tenth of the First Fruits to Yahuah, and Yahuah Ordained it as an Ordinance perpetually that they should give it to the Priests who Served before Him, that they should possess it perpetually.
And to this Torah there is no limit of days; for He has Ordained it for the generations perpetually that they should give to Yahuah the tenth of everything,
of the seed and of the wine and of the oil and of the cattle and of the sheep.
And He gave it unto His Priests to eat and to drink with joy before Him."
-Yubalym/Jubilees 13:22-27
As we see, the Malky-Tsadaq High Priest ruling over Shalam (Salem) did not have to ask Abram for this tithe offering, it was not given to the King of Shalam as a peace treaty, it was given to the Priest to satisfy the First Fruits Tithe to Yahuah which the Priest of the Most High Yahuah was to commanded to receive. Abram discerned on his own to honor him with a tenth of his spoils because he understood and obeyed the Law which was well established by that time. We also see this term for "priests" is used in the plural, revealing there were several "High Priests" expected to receive the tithe throughout time, who would be appointed as in keeping with the word "Order" (as opposed to a singular man known by the name "Malky-Tsadaq" as some suggest). This was in fact a title of a certain office and type of priesthood, just as Hebrews and Peter's letters discuss. Still, Yashar's retelling of the same story provides even further detail and evidence:
“8And Abram recovered all the property of Sadam (Sodom), and he also recovered Lut (Lot) and his property, his wives and little ones and all belonging to him, so that Lut lacked nothing. 9And when he returned from smiting these kings, he and his men passed the Valley of Siddim where the kings had made war together. 10And Bera king of Sadam (Sodom), and the rest of his men that were with him, went out from the lime pits into which they had fallen, to meet Abram and his men. 11And Adanay-Tsadaq King of Yarushalam,
the same was Sham, went out with his men to meet Abram and his people,
with bread and wine, and they remained together in the Valley of Malach.
11And Adanay-Tsadaq blessed Abram, and Abram gave him a tenth from all that he had brought from the spoil of his enemies, for Adanay-Tsadaq was a Priest before Alahym. 13And all the kings of Sadam and Amarah (Sodom and Amorah) who were there, with their servants, approached Abram and begged of him to return them their servants whom he had made captive, and to take unto himself all the property.”
-Yashar/Jasher 16:8-13
Here we learn the Adanay-Tsadaq, or “Adonai-Tsedeq”, is similarly interpreted as “Master of Justice,” is none other than the "Malky- Tsadaq" interpreted as “Sovereign of Righteousness,” who according to the Book of Yashar, was Sham (Shem) just as the ancient rabbis believed. The timeline of the Malky-Tsadaq lineage reveals Sham (Shem) was alive and well during the life of Abraham:
9) Sham/Shem (The Essential Reality of who someone is; lit. Name) = lived 100 yrs and had Arpakshad. Arpakshad lived 35 yrs then had Shalach and died at 439 yrs. Shalach lived 30 yrs, bore Abar and died at 433yrs.
10) Abar/Eber (Crossed Over/Hebrew) = lived 34 yrs, had Palag. Palag lived 30 yrs, had Reu and died at 239 yrs. Reu lived 32 yrs, had Sarug and died at 207 yrs. Sarug lived 30 yrs, had Nachar and died at 200 yrs. Nachar lived 29 years, had Tarach, and died at 148 yrs. Tarach lived 70 yrs, had Abram/Abraham and died at 205 yrs.
11) Yatschaq/Isaac (To Laugh) = Lived 100 yrs, bore Asau and Ya’acub and died at 175 yrs. Although Asau was the eldest son of Yatschaq, Ya’acub actually received the anointing because of his Belief and Obedience to Yahuah. This reveals the Malky-Tsadaq Order is one of Righteousness, and not direct lineage.
12) Ya’acub/Jacob (Holder of the Heel) = bore Yahudah/Judah, Luy/Levi, and 10 other sons who would become the Set Apart Nation of Yasharal (The Upright of Alahym). Luy/Levi (United/Joined) = Yatschaq and Yaacub were revealed Luy (Levi) would eventually inherit the Authority of the Priesthood, therefore after Yatschaq died Yaacub intended to transfer the Order of Priesthood from the Malky-Tsadaq to the Luym (Levitical) immediately, and resolved to build a Temple for them to officiate the sacrifices moving forward. However, Yah told Yaacub it was not yet the appropriate time for the Luym Priesthood to come into Authority yet (Yubalym 32:16-17). For their sin toward Yusaf (Joseph), all his brethren and their families had to first go into captivity in Matsarym (Egypt) where they would dwell for 430 yrs and greatly multiply. Ya’acub died at 147 yrs.
Although this priesthood was unable to function while Yasharal dwelled in the land of Matsraym (Egypt) as slaves, just as Romans states, "Death reigned from Adam to Mashah (Moses)," by way of the Malky-Tsadaq Priesthood. As we know, Adam was the first Malky-Tsadaq and Mashah was therefore the last to serve as such during the First Covenant Age. Paul points this out by stating the Malky-Tsadaq Priesthood originally "reigned" during the Age of "Death", meaning much like the Levites, the Malky-Tsadaq Priests and the Chosen Nation were also required to officiate certain temporary sacrifices of atonement to cover transgression against "The Law of Righteousness" (Rom. 8:3).
However, Malky-Tsadaq High Priests are simply the representatives for the People. As with all previous generations, the Semitic people then called "Yasharalym" were likewise given the opportunity to reaffirm the Malky-Tsadaq Priesthood to serve as Malky-Tsadaq Priests under Mashah/Moses' authority by accepting His Covenantal Laws (both the "Law of Righteousness" and those "Added Laws" which would continue to serve as a Temporary Atonement for transgression against the "Law of Righteousness"):
“3And Mashah (Moses) went up to Alahym, and Yahuah called to him from the Mountain, saying, “This is what you are to say to the House of Ya’acub, and declare to the Children of Yasharal: 4‘You have seen what I did to the Matsraym, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Myself. 5‘And now, if you diligently obey My voice, and shall guard My Covenant, then you shall be My treasured possession above all the peoples – for all the earth is Mine – 6‘and you shall be to Me a Reign of Priests and a Set Apart Nation.’ Those are the Words which you are to speak to the Children of Yasharal. 7And Mashah came and called for the elders of the People, and set before them all these Words which Yahuah commanded him. 8And all the People answered together and said, “All that Yahuah has spoken we shall do.” So Mashah brought back the Words of the People to Yahuah."
-Exodus 19:5-8
In Exodus 23, we see Yahusha the Messiah, exemplified here as the “Messenger/Angel of Yahuah” as identified in 1 Cor. 10:4, would lead the Children of Yasharal into the Promised Land and save them from their enemies, if they would follow and obey Him in "The Way" as that "Set Apart Nation" and "Royal Priesthood":
“20And, behold, I send My Messenger before your face, that He may keep you in The Way, that He may bring you into the Land which I have prepared for you. 21Take heed to yourself and hearken to Him, and disobey Him not; for He is not going to pardon your transgressions, for My Name is in Him. 22If you will indeed hear My Voice, and if you will do all the things I shall charge you with, and keep My Covenant, you shall be to Me a peculiar People above all nations, for the whole earth is Mine; and you shall be to Me a Royal Priesthood, and a Set Apart Nation: these Words shall you speak to the Children of Yasharal, If you shall indeed hear My Voice, and do all the things I shall tell you, I will be an enemy to your enemies, and an adversary to your adversaries. 23For My Messenger shall go as your Leader, and shall bring you to the Amorite, and Chettite, and Pherezite, and Chananite, and Gergesite, and Evite, and Jebusite, and I will destroy them.”
-Exodus 23:20-23 (LXX)
Although, even after this Malky-Tsadaq Blood Covenant was officially accepted by Yasharal, we find in Exodus 32:1-10 Yasharal believing Mashah (Moses) to have been lost to them, breaks the Covenant by creating a golden calf from the gold they brought from Egypt. Although their intention was for this idol to act as an intermediator between themselves and Yah, they failed to recognize their own Authority to speak to Him and reverted to their old worldly ways, rather than approaching Him in Reverence. Therefore, just as the Father in His Infinite Foreknowledge expected all along, Yasharal loses their Malky-Tsadaq standing:
“1And when the People saw that Mashah (Moses0 was so long in coming down from the Mountain, the People gathered together to Aharan (Aaron), and said to him, “Arise, make us mighty ones (alahym) who go before us. For this Mashah, the man who brought us up out of the land of Matsraym (Egypt), we do not know what has become of him.” 2And Aharan said to them, “Take off the golden earrings which are in the ears of your wives, your sons, and your daughters, and bring them to me.” 3And all the people took off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them to Aharan. 4And he took this from their hand, and he formed it with an engraving tool, and made a moulded calf. And they said, “This is Alahayka (your Mighty One), O Yasharal, that brought you out of the land of Matsraym!” 5And Aharan saw and built an altar before it. And Aharan called out and said, “Tomorrow is a Festival to Yahuah.” 6And they rose early on the next day, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings. And the people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play. 7And Yahuah said to Mashah, “Go, get down! For your people whom you brought out of the land of Matsraym have corrupted themselves. 8They have turned aside quickly out of The Way which I commanded them. They have made themselves a moulded calf, and have bowed themselves to it and slaughtered to it, and said, ‘This is your Mighty One, O Yasharal, Who brought you out of the Land of Matsraym!’” 9And Yahuah said to Mashah, “I have seen this People, and see, it is a stiff-necked People! 10And now, let Me alone, that My wrath might burn against them and I consume them and I make of you a great nation.”
-Exodus 32:1-10
As the chapter continues, we learn the people were sorely chastised, and then officially placed under the temporary stewardship of the Aaronic Priesthood. This sentiment is echoed in Numbers 3:5-13 which expresses the Luym (Levites) were chosen as the "First Born" to be taken for Yahuah, as an ode to His Own First-Born Who would be given for the world:
"26And Mashah (Moses) stood in the entrance of the camp, and said, “Who is for Yahuah? Come to me.” And all the sons of Luy (Levi) gathered themselves to him. 27And he said to them, “Thus said Yahuah Alahym of Yasharal: ‘Each one put his sword on his side, pass over to and fro from gate to gate in the camp, and each one slay his brother, and each one his friend, and each one his relative.’ ” 28And the Sons of Luy did according to the Word of Mashah. And about three thousand men of the People fell that day. 29And Mashah said, “You are Ordained for Yahuah today – since each one has been against his son and his brother – so as to bring upon you a blessing today... 35And Yahuah plagued the people because they made the calf, which Aharon made."
-Exodus 32:26-29 & 35
13) Mashah/Moses ("Pull out/Draw Out": i.e. "Deliver") = anointed to bring out the nation of Yasharal from captivity and act as Malky-Tsadaq until the priesthood transferred to Aahran (Aaron), the High Priest of the Luym/Levitical Priesthood. Two thousand years later, it is believed Yahuchanan the Immerser (John the Baptist) was born the last legitimate High Priest of the Luy (Levite Priesthood); see also Luke 1:15 & Lev. 10:9); so although the unrighteously appointed High Priest rejected the Messiah, the truly Anointed Son of Luy submitted the Sceptre of Priesthood according to the Torah and Prophecies appropriately:
"1And it came to be, when Yahusha ended instructing His twelve taught ones,
that He set out from there to Teach and to Proclaim in their cities.
2And when Yahuchanan had heard in the prison of the Works of Messiah,
he sent two of his taught ones 3and said to Him, “Are You the Coming One,
or do we look for another?” 4And Yahusha answering, said to them,
“Go, report to Yahuchanan what you hear and see: 5Blind receive sight and lame walk, lepers are cleansed and deaf hear, dead are raised up and poor are brought the Good News. 6And blessed is he who does not stumble in Me.” 7And as these were going, Yahusha began to say to the crowds concerning Yahuchanan, “What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken by the wind? 8But what did you go out to see? A man dressed in soft garments? Look, those wearing soft garments are in the houses of sovereigns. 9But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yea, I say to you, and more than a prophet. 10For this is he of whom it was Written, ‘See, I send My messenger before Your face, who shall prepare Your way before You.’ 11Truly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen one greater than Yahuchanan the Immerser,
yet the least one in the Reign of the Heavens is greater than he. 12And from the days of Yahuchanan the Immerser till now the Reign of the Heavens is violated, and the violent seize it. 13For all the Prophets and the Torah prophesied till Yahuchanan.
14And if you wish to accept it, he is AlYahu (Elijah) who was to come."
-MathathYahu/Matthew 11:1-14
14) Yahusha (Yahuah is our Salvation/Deliverance) = lived 30 years, and was immersed by Yahuchanan the Immerser at which time the Luy (Levite) Priesthood's authority was spiritually surrendered and passed back to the Malky-Tsadaq Order "once and for all," as the Father in Heaven Proclaimed. Yahusha died at 33 years and was resurrected, now serving as High Priest over all Yasharal forever:
"22After this, Yahusha and His taught ones came into the land of Yahudah (Judea),
and He remained there with them, and was immersing. 23And Yahuchanan (John) was also immersing in Ayin near Salim, because there was plenty of water there.
And they were coming and were being immersed, 24for Yahuchanan had not yet been put into prison. 25Then a dispute arose between some of Yahuchanan's taught ones and the Yahudym (Jews) about cleansing, 26and they came to Yahuchanan and said to him,
“Rabbi, He Who was with you beyond the Yardan (Jordan), to Whom you have Witnessed, see, He is immersing, and all are coming to Him!” 27Yahuchanan answered and said,
“No man is able to receive any matter unless it is given to him from the heaven.
28You yourselves are Witnesses for me that I said,
‘I am not the Messiah but I am sent ahead of Him.’
29He that has the Bride is the Bridegroom, but the Friend of the Bridegroom,
who stands and hears Him, rejoices greatly because of the Voice of the Bridegroom.
So this joy of mine is complete.
30It is necessary for Him to increase, but me to decrease.
31He Who Comes from above is over all,
he who is from the earth is of the earth and speaks of the earth.
He Who Comes from the heaven is over all.
32And what He has seen and heard, that He Witnesses. And no one receives His Witness. 33He who Receives His Witness has set his seal that Alahym is true.
34For He Whom Alahym has Sent speaks the Words of Alahym,
for Alahym does not give the Spirit by measure.
35The Father loves the Son, and has given All into His hand.
36He who Believes in the Son possesses Everlasting Life,
but he who does not obey the Son shall not see Life,
but the Wrath of Alahym remains on him.”
-Yahuchanan/John 3:22-36
"1The beginning of the Good News of Yahusha Messiah, the Son of Alahym.
2As it has been Written in the Prophets, “See, I send My Messenger before Your face,
who shall prepare Your way before You, 3a voice of one crying in the wilderness,
‘Prepare the way of Yahuah, make His paths Straight.’ ” 4Yahuchanan came Immersing in the wilderness and Proclaiming an Immersion of Repentance for the Forgiveness of Sins. 5And all the country of Yahudah, and those of Yarushalam, went out to him and were all Immersed by him in the Yardan River, confessing their sins. 6And Yahuchanan was clothed with camel’s hair and a leather girdle around his waist, and eating locusts and wild honey. 7And he Proclaimed, saying, “After me Comes One Who is Mightier than I, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to stoop down and loosen. 8I indeed did Immerse you in water, but He shall Immerse you in the Set Apart Spirit.” 9And it came to be in those days that Yahusha came from Natsarath of Galil, and was Immersed by Yahuchanan in the Yardan. 10And immediately, coming up from the water, He saw the heavens being torn open and The Spirit coming down on Him like a dove. 11And a Voice came out of the heavens,
“You are My Son, the Beloved, in Whom I did delight.”"
-Mark 1:1-11
"17So all the generations from Abraham to Daud (David) were fourteen generations, and from Daud until the exile to Babel were fourteen generations, and from the exile to Babel until the Messiah were fourteen generations. 18But the birth of Yahusha Messiah was as follows: After His mother Maryam was engaged to Yusaph (Joseph), before they came together, she was found to be pregnant from the Set Apart Spirit."
-MathathYahu/Matthew 1:17-18
"14Therefore, since we have a great High Priest Who has passed through the Heavens, Yahusha the Son of Alahym, let us hold fast our Confession. 15For we do not have a High Priest unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who was tried in all respects as we are, apart from sin. 16Therefore, let us come boldly to the Throne of Favour, in order to receive Compassion, and find Favour for timely help."
-Abarym/Hebrews 4:14-16
